The 7.0 magnitude earthquake that hit Haiti last week has left horrifying images of suffering! As one of the poorest nations in the world, the country had very little infrastructure to begin with. Now, there’s even less. Schools, churches, hospitals … even the Parliament building collapsed.
Among the tens of thousands left homeless is the country’s President. A few people are still being pulled from the rubble now, but predictions are that as many as 500,000 people may have died from the earthquake … disease and complications from injuries that can’t be tended to will take many in the next few days.
The Red Cross is predicting that as many as one third of the country’s people are in desperate need of help in order to survive the next few days and weeks. They need food, water, shelter and all the basic necessities of life.

There are countless stories of immense suffering. You can help.

We need your help to help these precious children of God! The Bible says in James 1:27, “This is pure religion and undefiled in the sight of God to minister to the fatherless, the orphans and the widows.” Folks, this earthquake has created more orphans, and more widows and I’m here to tell you: I’m not giving because it’s Haiti. I’m giving because those orphans belong to God. They’re ours. It might not be our country, but those orphans are our kids. We’re the ones that need to minister to the orphans and be a light in this dark time.
We will use your generous gift of $50, $75, $100 or whatever amount you can give to assist in providing relief to Haiti during its time of crisis, and to support all the outreaches of this ministry around the world. It’s easy to wonder if you can make a difference in such a huge sea of misery. The answer is YES, you can make a difference! Even if it’s only in one life. Even if only one child gets a meal or a cup of water because of you. All in the name of Jesus.
Jesus said in Matthew 25:40, “Whatever you did for the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” Go here to give your best gift.
